Location
40 acres of waterfront property in Gulfport, Mississippi

Overview
Island View Casino Resort, a privately held casino by local businessmen Terry Green and Rick Carter, will be Gulfport’s only gaming property and the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s largest casino upon completion. Carter and Green owned the Copa Casino, which was located in Gulfport’s port before being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. After the storm, the two gaming executives purchased Harrah’s Grand Casino Gulfport, and pursued a longtime vision of developing one of the region’s highest quality resorts, featuring first-class amenities and state-of-the-art gaming.
